I was asked to machine large quantities of very complex parts for the defense industry. The quantities were high enough that it required around the clock machining to keep up. I designed, programmed, built, and operated a hydraulically actuated machining fixture. The robot-CNC interface was controlled via PLC with SMS fault reporting.
